How to update Aadhaar Address Online with complete detail
Aadhaar card is mandatory (required) to Open a Bank Accounts, Mutual funds Investment, Insurance policy and for many other governments related documentation. So it is necessary that each and every detail on Aadhaar card is updated.
Aadhaar details that can be updated are:
Name, Address, Date of Birth/Age, Gender, Mobile Number, Email Address, Relationship Status and Information Sharing Consent
As per the UIDAI website, there are three ways to update or correct your details:
1. Update your details online
2. Request update by post
3. Visit a nearby enrolment centre
Update Address on Aadhaar Card Online

Step 1 :
Login to the SSUP portal. For that click on link Aadhar Card Update and then move to Step 2.
Step 2 :
Click on "Address Update Request (online)" link as displayed in below image.
Step 3 :
Click on proceed button as displayed in below image.
Step 4 :
Enter your Aadhaar number and text verification code displayed in box and then click on Send OTP button, You will receive OTP code on your aadhar registered mobile phone number. See below image for help
Step 5 :
Enter you received OTP as displayed in below image and click on login button.
Step 6 :
Select option as displayed in below image and click on submit button.
Step 7 :
Fill Address details in English or in Hindi and click on submit button as displayed in below image.
Step 8 :
Select document type, Document and in choose file upload scan copy of required document and click on submit button as displayed in below image.
Step 9 :
Select the BPO service provider that will verify your details and click on Submit button.
Step 10 :
The BPO service provider inspects all the details mentioned in the form matches with the proof of address and forward your request to UIDAI
Step 11 :
Your update request is accepted and an Acknowledgement Slip is provided to you, the Acknowledgement Slip contains the Update Request number (URN)
Once updated, you can download the updated Aadhaar Card and can get your Aadhar card print out.
